The United States Army Research Laboratory in Aberdeen, MD has approved Spectrum Coating’s Mil-P-53030 Waterborne Epoxy Primer for use by all departments of the Department of Defense.
This two component water based primer, WE2K-720, has been tested for the next revision of the Mil-P-53030 specification. The primer has passed physical performance testing that exceeds current Revision A specification requirements. It is non-flammable, Lead, Chromate and HAPS Free with a VOC of 1.4 lbs./gal.
